Track memory leaks in long COBOL jobs

Post by Abhilash Sharma »

As part of my current work, I happened to run into a scenario where Suspected leak in a long‑runner. Tools and patterns to spot heap retention? Appreciate any guidance or examples.

BMC Mainview or Omegamon both let you look at storage usage while the program is running.  Either of them would be the place to start.
