Audit trail for batch updates
I have a situation in which Minimal-but-sufficient audit info for changed records—what do you capture? Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

since you talk about auditing,...
what legal requirements are behind the audit request
meditate please also on the complexity of the issue ...

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
