Post by Angel »

Hi,

COBOL program S0C7 abend, no bad data in input even though when Input looks clean, but still S0C7. Where else to check?

Hello.

If you're performing an arithmetic operation involving the input data, check the other variables being used in the calculation in case they are bad.

It doesn't really matter what you think -- the computer is telling you that there is bad data somewhere causing the S0C7.  Until you start trusting the computer and closely scrutinizing your data, you will fail to identify the issue.
