This is a contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or conversion and is 100% remote. We can support W2, 1099 and C2C.

CA Datacom Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain software management best practices
Configure and manage CA Datacom and related products
Develop strategies and processes for CA Datacom systems programming
Establish policies and procedures for database management, disaster recovery and security
Review new versions of CA Datacom and related products to assess benefits for clients
Collaborate with vendors to resolve problems and answer questions
Perform disaster recovery for system and application databases
Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues
Administer and customize CA Datacom and related products
Design databases and work with CA Datadictionary
Monitor databases for space and performance using CA Sysview
Utilize utilities for CA Datacom and related products
Support planned and unplanned database recovery activities

CA Datacom Systems Administrator Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in CA Datacom and related products for administration and systems programming support
Experience in a large, 24x7 environment with strong prioritization skills
Ability to effectively respond to support requests from multiple clients
Willingness to provide after-hours on-call support
Proficiency in writing, debugging and tuning SQL
Previous experience in a CA Datacom environment
