Hi,

I've been asked if a DECLARE CURSOR executable? I was not sure about this. What does "executable" means in this context. Can someone please help?

IMHO, I believe the interviewer might have checked if the DECLARE could be executed in SPUFI

The DECLARE CURSOR statement is declarative, not executable. In an embedded usage context, access rights for the tables etc. are checked when the cursor is opened, not when it is declared.
