Re: Get the attributes of VSAM dataset.
You can use IDCAMS with LISTC. First you do a LISTC on the Mastercatalog to see which User Catalogs exists. Then LISTC every User Catalog to see the VSAM Attributtes for each Dataset. Please note that the Mastercat also may contain VSAM Dataset Attributtes.

Re: COBOL + DB2: Peak-hour performance bottlenecks.
You need a Performance Monitor to see what Workload is active. We have good Experience with BMC Apptune, where you can see the SQL Statements and their Resource Consumption.

Hallo Anuj,

Re: send email with an attachment from the mainframe
We have a Java program that works with Java 8 and is based on Oracle's mail.jar.
Here is the JCL to run the program.
If required, I will send you the *.jar files.
Please note that it no longer works with Java 11.
If you want, you can receive the source code or the jar file by email.

Also lange Rede kurzer Sinn.

-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=7777
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false
-Dcom.sun ...

Vielen Dank

Re: JAVA on mainframes.

Re: minimum primary and secondary quantity of storage required
