TCS don't pay much and not a pay master. If you get Rs. 500,000 then you're lucky.

Actually now it depends on your current package but TCS is not good with salaries. If you are earning already moe than their budget they won't pay you more.

Is the current package discussion applicable in foreign countries too? I heard there they have budget for current job and irrespective of your previous salary, the correct salary is offered. Could someone please share thoughts from overseas?

I think 5.2 is max.. If you have more salary then they can pay more. Their range for ITA is very wide.
