Flush as return code in JCL.

Post by Pragya »

Hi,

What is the meaning of "flush" as return code in JCL? I mean it explains itself like this step is flushed and is not executed. Is that a correct understanding?

Another question is, why would a step show "flush" as return code?

Please search the internet for the information. I used the terms "mainframe jcl job flushed" for my search.

I have confused myself. I though only numeric values can be shown for the Return Codes and did not realized that FLUSH can be a valid value. Thanks all for your answers it has helped me.
