Hello,
This is Vasanth  , I have close to 9 years of Mainframe experience and in all of my career I've been lucky to be working on SAS.
I started out at production support then moved to capacity planning and moved to performance management and now learning to work as systems programmer.

Apart from mainframes, I love science, participate in online leagues for Rocket league and Warcraft.

Also I like twisted rage comics, don't judge me :-)

Thanks Anuj for creating this site, just came across the site today.

Hello and welcome to the website Vasanth,

It's nice to see you here - you seem to follow a dream path of career as mine! :)

"System-Programmer" - this word is just too attractive for me. I have been titled anything but a System Programmer -- Good Luck! :)

PS.: envy :D

System programming can be fun, it can be challenging, it can be intriguing -- but it is rarely boring! :)

Ah that's ok. You are a famous and credible person when it comes to Mainframe queries and help forums, you got your title there. And that is a hard one to earn.

About my career path, I guess I was just lucky with having good mentors.
