Job Description:

The Mainframe programmer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing various components of a large application. Key responsibilities include: 
o JCLs 
o Procedures to be used in JCLs 
o COBOL programs 
o COBOL VSAM programs 
o COBOL DB2 programs 
o COBOL IMS programs 
o COBOL CICS programs 
* Debugging/troubleshooting the above programs 
* Usage of Change control tools like changeman, endeavor etc. 
* Usage of batch scheduling tools like jobtrac, ca7, zeke etc. 
* TSO utilities like fileaid, xpeditor, file manager etc.
* SYNCSORT/DFSORT/ICETOOL utilities
