Hi,
Is there a possibility (SMF record, ...) to see from where a user issued a submit command, i mean the member and pds name.

why ? ...
the info would be really useless
You could open an empty member, copy something into it, submit, cancel

I don't believe the system records that information. You could probably find the data set information in the type 14 records but you wouldn't know if someone just looked at a data set or submitted it. I did a search of the SMF manual for SUBMIT and there was nothing for TSO job submission.

I believe the TS needs to access the job rather recreating it..
