Hello,
I am a COBOL programmer and have knowledge about PL/I, learningit. Can anyone explain me the null indicator processing in PL/I.

Can you narrow your question down a bit? Are you wanting syntax, examples, usage information or what? What research have you done already -- if you Google pl/I null indicator you get back 440,000 hits and several of them on the first page have good information about null indicators.
Basically, the quality of our responses depends upon the quality of your question -- and yours is so generic that it is very difficult to come up with a meaningful answer.
