I am badly confused on the concept of a private cloud.
Actually would like to ask if there is any difference between IaaS and private cloud? Do you think we can say say private cloud is the same thing as a data center like Esxi, that hosts VMs in an EMC storage on premise?

There are public, private, and hybrid clouds. A public cloud is where multiple customers can store data in the cloud; a private cloud is where a company sets up a cloud on their own intranet; a hybrid cloud is one with public and private components. Note that none of these have anything to do with what is being stored in the cloud -- it could be IaaS, SaaS, Paas but which one (or more) of these would not change the definitions of public, private, and hybrid cloud. Note that a company with a data center may -- or may not -- have a private cloud; there is more to a cloud than just a data center.
