Hi,

I've at least two differnt meaning of ASP. At one place ASP is used as, Asymmetric Multiprocessing System and at another place as, Attached Support Processor. It is confusing and I am not sure which one is correct. Do you have a better idea?

ASP in the context of this forum section is probably Automated Spooling Program. I never really bothered to find out what it stood for. I beleive HASP is the Houston Automated Spooling Program.

You need to understand that usually there are multiple definitions for any given acronym, so asking which is correct is not a valid question -- each is correct in the appropriate context. Using Acronym Finder (http://www.acronymfinder.com) returns 217 different meanings for ASP -- not all related to IT, of course.

But that is why I've asked question titled as "ASP and JES3" as I am looking for a meaning of ASP under JES3.
