How can we cancel the effect of &n in SDSF?
Hi ,
How can we cancel the effect of &n in SDSF? I've used it in SDSF to avoid the automatic log off of the session. Is there any way to cancel this command? I don't seem to find a way out. Your help is highly appreciated.
- Thanks

Go and ask your SDSF admin. OK, you will probably get fired for mis-use of the system but, at least, you will not then be interfering with everyone else who is using the system.
Have you tried reading up on it in the online help?

Do you know what the attention key is for your terminal emulator?

This will affect only my session and not of anyone else or will it?nicc wrote:Go and ask your SDSF admin. OK, you will probably get fired for mis-use of the system but, at least, you will not then be interfering with everyone else who is using the system.

I made a search on "SDSF documentation and &n" in google and got this: https://www.google.co.in/webhp?sourceid ... n+and+%26n but I don't find the answer to my question. I shall try again.

It will affect evryone and everything because you are taking up resource - cpu, transmission etc . Not much, true, but if everyone did it...
As to which key is the attention key why not look at the key mappings of your emulator. It may be Esc but it may be something else entirely.
