Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Mainframe MQ System programmer, you are responsible to provide technical support for Mainframe MQ with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You are responsible to maintain overall Service Level Management process and Service Levels, as well as building on the Process maturity during the transformation.
You will be self-motivated and willing to learn about new technologies, vendors, and IBM / client environments. Solving problem and network skills are required. You will be a team player with proven communication skills, and that is willing to work with other teammates to aid / support to both our internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:
IMS and MQ Product Upgrade.
Ordering of Products through company designed software (SOS and MOM)
Monitoring Chat room for issues related to IMS-MQ
Checking System Log in case of failure
Installing/upgrading sub products related to IMS & MQ like Classic Federation/IMS Connect/IMF etc
Adding printers using CA ETM
Performing OSAC Audits on a yearly basis.
Participate in capacity planning and systems configurations.
Configure and administer IBM z/OS mainframe MQSeries and CICS TS software.
Adding IMS Display Terminals and Printers and attend Change Review Meetings
Setting up new IMS & MQ regions requested by client
Early code installations for IMS and MQ regions
Setting up SSL for MQ and CSL for IMS.
Installing/upgrading sub products related to IMS & MQ like Classic Federation/IMS Connect/IMF etc
Define/Alter/Delete of MQ objects as requested by the account.
Defining and maintaining the Service Levels across all vendors.
Install and maintain MQ and CICS and related software, making use of the Citi’s SSMF infrastructure.
Maintain and modify the MQ and CICS related system parameters (tables, JCL, etc.) to allow the efficient running of applications.
Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled.
Support for technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams.
Evaluating and managing the Service Level Performance procedure
Recommending Service Level improvements & Get to green plans for missed Service Level Agreements Service Level agreement recovery

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 8+ years of Mainframe MQ System Programming.
Proficient in mainframe MQSeries systems administrator.
Prior experience in supporting a 24*7 high value operation, where there is a rapid rate of technical change, but reliability is mandatory, hence adherence to change control disciplines is a necessity. Experienced preferably to have been obtained in a major financial institution.
Experience of challenging problem solving and provide in depth analysis of new technical features and software.
Expertise in performing service level review, reviewing service improvement plan results, Internal / external review of service level performance
Validated understanding of external review of service level performance
Ability to setup meetings required during execution and review of service improvement plan
Proven expertise in reporting requirements and contractually defined service level performance report
