Hi,
Is there a parameter which we can give while creating the GDG base which might make the base get deleted after some years?
We have a GDG base, in production, which was deleted abruptly two days back. We came to know only when the Job got the JCL errors. How should we start investigating about it?
GDG Base was deletd in Production.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

No -- someone issued an IDCAMS DELETE or something similar against the GDG base. As Enrico said, use the SMF record type 65 to identify who and when.Is there a parameter which we can give while creating the GDG base which might make the base get deleted after some years?
