Can the posting editor be changed?
Hi,
Can the posting editor be changed on this Forum? It is tough to use it many a time. If anyone else is facing this too?

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
What is tough about it - it is fairly standard. If you really have problems then create your post in notepad (or whatever) and then cut'n'paste into the editor.

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
As Nic has said, it's fairly standard editor.
OTOH, what problem/s are you facing. If You explain some, I might try to rectify them.

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
most probably the same I faced...
<ctrl><shift>s
reverted to the older and FRIENDLIER ways
really the New editor You forced on us is really unfriendly
let' s not talk of when You edit a post, and we moderators do it quite often

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
I have registered some time back what was wrong with the previous editor?
Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
Is there a way to make the full editor the default for me? I looked in the editor settings in my user control panel but did not spot anything.

Such features are applicable across board, changing them for individual users are tough. Let me check if there are some easy tweaks available. Will keep you posted.

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
It all works good for me. What is wrong with the editor we are using? Is every user using a differnt editor?

Re: Can the posting editor be changed?
We were using a different editor to post, perhaps you have not noticed it. Just understand that the current editor is different from the previous one. Previous one was WYSIWYG editor while this is standard text editor.Vidya Kumari wrote:It all works good for me. What is wrong with the editor we are using? Is every user using a differnt editor?

Thanks for the feedback.
There are other features in it, which you might come to know when you get more accustomed with it.
