Bringing back the basic editor.

Post by Anuj Dhawan » Fri Jun 10, 2016 12:34 pm

Hi,

I'm thinking to bring back the original editor. Current editor has taken longer than anticipated time to develop.

Share your thoughts please.

Thanks,
Anuj

doesn' t ctrl-shift-s get into basic edit mode - old editor

and everything works fine

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)

Yes, it does but I'm not sure if everybody knows that.

I have been observing some of the recent posts and the paragraph spacing has gone bad for most of them.  I've edited many of them just to adjust the gap between paragraphs; though did not add the "reason" for edit. I'm not too compelled to change it but if I see that more (moderators) are not happy, I won't hesitate to change it until the current editor's development comes to an acceptable state. Said that, with your positive response I have +1 to keep it! :)

Thanks,
Anuj

Hello Anuj,
mine was not a positive response,
just that I was glad that there was a workaround that made possible to keep the old ways
and as long as the workaround is available I will be glad to ignore the new editor ;)
