wfavero.

Post by Anuj Dhawan » Tue Jun 21, 2016 12:05 pm

wfavero is a known name in DB2 world, as far I understand it from the blogs he has written over the years. But he is using a link in his signature, I'm not sure should we raise concern here? Though the link is not harmful from a spam point of view but it sure is an advertisement.

What do you suggest - should we ask him to remove the signature. I'm in double mind so seek an advice.

Thanks,
Anuj

If the rules say 'no links in signatures' then no links is the rule - for everyone.

nothing to be impressed with!
the noise - IMO - is more than the content,
lots of people in IT have a name, even if their contributions are negligible.
... should we ask him to remove the signature.
if the rule is - no links,
no need to ask, it is enough to tell

cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)
