You must have noticed it - Google’s search page defaults to the local site wherever you are in the world, so if you’re in India but are from U.S. and you go to, you’ll get

To force the browser to load the U.S site, or any international site you choose, type /ncr (‘no country return’) at the end of the URL. The whole thing will read For an easy reference, bookmark the amended URL, this can save you typing in the extra text each time.
