Position : MainFrame DEVELOPER
Exp : 2-8 yrs,
Location : Primary : Trivandrum
Secondary : Kochi,Banglore
NP : 15 DAYS

Mainframe Dev/Sr.Dev 

- 2 to 5 years development experience in Mainframe platform
- Primary Technologies: DB2, Cobol, JCLs, IMS DB, CICS
- Secondary technologies: VSAM, EZTRIEVE, SAS 
- Hands-on programming skills, Database concepts and SQL commands
- Good analytical and design skills
- Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Should be able to deliver on-time with quality
- Good communication skills
- Good documentation skills, e.g. creation of analysis/design documents, test plan/results
- Retail domain experience preferred.

Mainframe Lead (System Analyst or Sr. System Analyst) 

- 6 to 8 years of hands on experience in Mainframe environments (online and batch)
- Extensive hands on experience in COBOL, JCL, EZTRIEVE, SAS programming
- High proficiency in handling IMS, DB2, VSAM databases and CICS (OLTP) from various programming languages
- Knowledge on Assembler, REXX, Infopac & Dispatch reports preferred
- High proficiency in designing, writing and tuning SQLs
- High proficiency in analysis, design and development of applications
- High proficiency in creating test strategies including test case/data preparation (Unit, system, integration)
- Experience working in a global multi-shore multi-cultural delivery model
- Strong knowledge in creating rollout scripts for application deployment and checkout
- Strong knowledge on requirements gathering, requirements analysis, development methodologies, testing and documentation
- Strong knowledge on industry standards (coding, design pattern, error/exception handling etc)
- Excellent analytical skills for developing and enhancing existing application
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to mentor and guide a team of 8 to 10 people
- Maintain high motivation levels and positive dynamics in the team
- Ability to review, monitor and track team's deliverables
- Should be able to do status reporting on a daily/weekly basis
- Accountability to timely and quality deliverables during all phases of the project
- Exhibit judgment in establishing priorities and escalating issues
- Ability to manage dependencies and to make the team fully productive
- Ability to review and identify shortfalls in the established processes
- Ability to identify processes which lacks efficiency and refining it by adopting a continuous improvement approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Ability to adapt to change in Scope and requirements quickly
- Establish and maintain good relation/collaboration with all interfacing groups and individuals
- Exhibit proactiveness in avoiding issues by managing risks
- UST process knowledge preferred
- Retail domain expertise preferred
- Tool making and automation experience preferred
- Exposure to Project management processes preferred
