Major Responsibilities
- Supports Functional Design to achieve compliance with technical standards
- Produce the Technical Design for given business requirement by analysing business requirement and existing system
- Should have experience in developing programs in PL1 and DB2
- Fixes defects and performance related problems discovered
- Provide support to QA, integration and user acceptance testing
- Achieves compliance of Technical Design \ Configuration and Customization with Functional Design by aligning with Enterprise Application Domain Architecture
Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MS
Experience
7-12 years of IT experience , hands-on experience in Mainframe Technology PL1, DB2
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Mainframe PL1, JCL, DB2
PL1 Strong experience in developing PL1 program with embedded SQL
DB2 Strong experience in writing optimized embedded DB2 SQL
JCL - Should have experience in developing batch technology and hands on experience in JCL
Good to have exposure to Insurance Domain and/or Banking Domain.
Other skills
- Experience on Endeavor, File file aid\manager, HP demand will be preferred
- Experience in developing optimized PL1 DB2 programs
- Sound awareness and/or expertise of complete software lifecycle, including delivering with quality and on time.
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills
