Role: Mainframe Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are looking for multiple senior level mainframe developers that will be involved in the new development, maintenance, design, and development of a variety of applications. This will include MVS based COBOL applications operating in environments such as UNIX. Will interact with, business analysts, project managers, developers, along with internal customers to assist with the development of requirements according to business requirements. Will also provide application support. Preferred previous American Express experience

· Native stored procedures

· Cobol Stored procedures

· Design capabilities

· JCL, Stored Procs, Native Stored Procs, Cobol, JobTrac

· At least 7 years of mainframe development experience.

· At least 5 years of COBOL Development experience

· At least 5 years of JCL and/or Unix scripting Development experience.

· Experience with a variety of technologies including: IBM, MVS, Windows, FTP, SFTP, SCLM, TSO, CISCS, UNIX.

· Financial Systems experience – a plus.

· Ability to work within a team environment and effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
