I work for a Class One Railroad in the United States as a Mainframe Engineer. I started out of college in 2006 as a Mainframe Analyst doing shift work. I worked my way up into this position. I am responsible for Outage Coordination, Disaster Recovery, Capacity Planning, Change Mgmt, Automation, Storage Engineering, WLM, and anything else that other people aren't doing.
