Hi,
I am new to the field of computer science as a programmer. But I am using computer from my college days. I have started working as mainframe programmer and have some knowledge of JCL, COBOL and VSAM.

Welcome to the community and to the great world of zOS aka mainframes! I think you are already on the path of learning this great software as you said that you've some knowledge of JCL, COBOL and VSAM.
As you learn more about these disciplines and have questions as you go along, don't hesitate to ask them here - someone will be around with an explanation.
