How can we suppress leading zeroes using NATURAL?

Datacom, IDMS, Adabas, Oracle, FOCUS, NOMAD, TOTAL/SUPRA/ULTRA, Model 204, SQL/DS.

How can we suppress leading zeroes using NATURAL?

Hi,

In my program, I am in need of writing a record counter, but all the leading zeros should be suppressed. How can I do that. Please help.

By default, NATURAL has zero suppression for numeric fields; unless you specify EM=9999, the result is zero suppressed. You may also try EM=ZZZZZ.
