Hi,

In IDMS, can you tell please, what is the difference between local and central version operating modes? Any reference would be helpful.

The IDMS manual (I do not know which one) will tell you. Your IDMS support people will know.

From manuals: When a batch program operates in local mode it'll have its own copy of IDMS DBMS loaded into its partition, region or address space. On the other hand, with central version, a single copy of IDMS DBMS controls the operation of a particular set of IDMS application program run unit.

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Anuj
