IBM Session Manager

Post by hurgler » Mon Jan 11, 2016 3:34 pm

I am relatively new to zOS and currently I received the task to install "IBM Session Manager" replacing the Netview Access solution. I managed to install it and to bring it up. But I have the following problems: I managed to authenticate against RACF and I managed to make up a menu for TSO and to login to TSO. But TSO is asking again for the same password. Isn't it possible to "pass" the authentication to the applications? Something like a single sign-on? Or is this just possible if you choose RACF certificates instead of RACF passwords?
If it is possible, please write also in which members I have to put which configuration changes...

Thanks... 8-)
