as said a gazillions times ...
hercules is an hardware emulator
You will have to install an operating system ...
operating systems own to work ...
various flavors of
DOS, DOS/VS
MVS ....
MVS/XA
MVS/ESA
OS/390
zOS all the 1.xx
VM
zVM
zLINUX

MUSIC ( google to find out what it is )

and most probably z/TPF also

obviously there are licensing issues to deal with
but from a technical point of view there are not any limitations

see here for the instructions on installing Fedora 20 in Hercules,

cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)

If you are talking about connecting to an existing z/TPF system using Hercules, then the answer is probably not. If you are talking about installing a z/TPF system on Hercules, then the answer is probably yes -- but you will have the responsibility for licensing and will bear the legal consequences should IBM decide to prosecute you for the various illegalities involved in installing an unlicensed copy of z/TPF on Hercules.
