When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)

For free emulators you can look at the following options, they might interest you:
  1. # x3270 - IBM 3270 terminal emulator for the X Window System. It runs on most Unix-like operating systems -- e.g., Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Cygwin.
  2. # tn3270 for the Macintosh
  3. # tn3270 for Unix (recommend x3270 instead)

Thanks,
Anuj
