System programmer interview questions.

Hi,

I'm currently on a mainframe training along with my programmer's work. A few days back the trainers informed us that they had created a System Programmer position, and the traineess can/should apply. Most of us are given usually employed as operators. I've some concern on that, what kind of interview questions could we expect? Specially when we have just started on the learning program and the most of don't have experience as Sys-programmers.

System programmers are usually asked about SMP/E and system maintenance procedures and backup / backout processes. However, for a new position for a new system programmer I have no idea what questions would be asked -- that would depend upon your site and what the job qualifications are for the position.
