Regarding IEBDG

Post by zprogrammer »

Hi all,

I feel the utility IEBDG is not so "widely used" across shops and why there is also not so much of queries being raised regarding the same...

But Personally I find the utility doing a very great job in generating data/data patterns for our test-scripts as I have been using it for a while ...

Just wonder why it is not discussed so much about it like other utilities

I'd assume it's lack of knowledge.

PL/I sounds like a similar candidate - I read a statement about it that it was not as successful as COBOL becuase it was a "future language" in "that time", well.
Thanks,
Anuj
