IKJ56718A REENTER THIS OPERAND+.

Post by Vibha »

Hi,

How can we get rid of the message "IKJ56718A REENTER THIS OPERAND+"?

In a PDS, in front of the member I put "CO" mistakenly instead of "C" and this message started showing up. I used "Quit", "Exit", "Bye" and "logoff" but nothing worked. What is the appropriate command to get rid of this message? Please help.

How about blanking out the 'o'?
If that does not work - have you tried F1?

Removing is an option if I do it correct at the first time but the mistake has already been done and now keep on getting this message until someone purges my ID or my session is logged off.

The manual says
IKJ56718A

z/OS TSO/E Messages
SA32-0970-00

IKJ56718A
REENTER THIS OPERAND +
Explanation

The parse user has specified HELP= on the parse macros indicating that there are additional messages for this prompting sequence. The user can enter a ‘?’ and get the other messages. A ‘?’ must be entered for each available message.
If you don't want to use the ?, you'll need to find the PA1 (Program Attention 1) key on your terminal emulator and hit it which should stop the message.
