Secure a Sequential File.

Post by Leena »

Hello,

Is there any way I can protect a data set from over-writing? Actually, I want to secure a sequential file that I have created, in a way that no one else can delete or overwrite it. Is it possible to do ? Please help.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)

You can use the site security package to control access to your data set.  However, you need to talk to your site support group as there may be site restrictions.
