suppress LF during transmission in SFTP

Hope everyone is safe.

I am generating a XML file using Mainframe application and transmitting to the SFTP folder through connect Direct.When the transmitted through connected direct a line feeder LF is added at the end of the record.The file consumer either needs carriage return line feeder CR LF or nothing instead of LF. I am not able to suppress LF during transmission. I tried to find out which parameter in Connect Direct forces this LF to the end of record , but was not successful.Have anyone faced this before ?
