difference between wall clock time and elapsed time.

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what is difference between wall clock time,elapsed time and CPU time? I am not sure what is wall clock time? Please help.

"Wall clock time" is just another way of saying "elapsed time" (you measure elapsed time with the clock on the wall, yes?)

And CPU time is the amount of time the CPU spent on YOUR job.
