Need help to understand the CA-7 constructs.

Post by Avadhesh Tiwari »

Hi,

Can anyone please explain the below parameter and their use. I've searched in google but I think I should have looked in manuals which are not available to me but I've asked for them:

Code: Select all

ID=008   ROLL=D  INDEX=+000
 SCAL=    DOTM=0820  LEADTM=0010  SUBTM=0810  STARTM=0810
          DAILY
 ID=009   ROLL=D  INDEX=+000
 SCAL=    DOTM=0920  LEADTM=0010  SUBTM=0910  STARTM=0910
          DAILY

Those fields are all explained in the CA-7 manuals. If your site has a license for CA-7, you have access to the manuals. They may be hard copy at your site, or via a site intranet, or directly from CA (you'll need to know your site ID to get them downloaded from CA).

Unless CA has changed them, the CA-7 manuals include a glossary (which would explain those terms) as well as a Primer which is a good starting point for someone without knowledge of CA-7.
