Hi,

When we execute an IMS call in a CICS region does it translate to IMS equivalent. FOr example, does EXEC DLI translate into interfacing with CEETDLI or CBLTDLI?

Hello,

EXEC DLI does not "translate" as such. Not with CEETDLI nor CBLIDLI. The CICS translator generates a call to DFHELI rather. The call to DFHELI must be a static call and the NODYNAM compiler option is required for programs translated by the CICS translator.
Thanks,
Anuj
