I got a PDS from a DFHSM backup, a backup which was done recently. I'm not sure why it's happening but when I try to browse any members I get the I/O error.
When I browse a member of the PDS I keep on getting an I/O error. Can you please help if there is a way to fix it? Unfortunately, for some strange reason storage group has not backed it up earlier and now I cannot restore it from an old backup. Can there be a solution to this or should I consider it lost? Please help.

Ask your storage support. It may be that the restore did not work properly or restored over a bit of disk that is not in good health. They should be able to tell. We cannot.
