Losing data when sending file as an attachment.

Post by Gaurav Gagan »

Hi,

I have a dataset with 453267 records (lines) in a GDG file. Once the SMTP job runs successfully, I am getting only 50456 lines in the attachment. Am I doing something wrong as it's a standard SMTP job, can there be a limit on how much data can we send? Please suggest.

see here
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2821.txt

but a simple google search with "SMTP ATTACHMENT SIZE" would have provided the same
in a conversation returned as the first link of the search
( Your mileage might vary )
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)
