TSO Send

Post by Anithab »

Hi,

Is it possible to send a message to a user without displaying the USERID?
If yes how could I do that?

NO
and even if it was possible, nobody with a bit of good sense will tell...

furthermore it would be pretty inconsiderate to send a message hiding the sender
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)

I doubt if there can be any business reason behind for this though if you are trying to play with your colleagues then:
Strictly for for fun (otherwise keep your resume up to date) copy the send executable into a PDS and hard code the sender to always show some specific ID as the sender. Dis-assembling a load mod and editing it in a PDS shouldn't be that hard, give it a try - but if you don't know this, just don't try this at home.
Thanks,
Anuj
