What is the TSO Option to reset a previous command.

Post by Ankita Prakash »

Hi,

When I start a new session and do a swap list, it is showing me a message

Code: Select all

' COMMAND START NOT FOUND ***.
This is happening only when I type any command and swap. I want to reset a previously typed command from TSO. What option should I enable or disable to reset it? :unknown:

Unless introduced recently the term "reset" is not valid in TSO/ISPF so you will need to explain better.

I was talking about the START command used to start a new session:

Code: Select all

Option ===> 	START

0 Settings Terminal and user parameters
1 View Display source data or listings
2 Edit Create or change source data
3  	Utilities     	Perform utility functions
4  	Foreground    	Interactive language processing

6 Command Enter TSO or Workstation commands
7 Dialog Test Perform dialog testing

I think it is: If i start an application from ISPF using the START command, how do I get back to ISPF?

Not that you actually leave ISPF and, as long as the F keys have not been messed with you can also split screen and swap screen etc.
