find a particular member name from a list of Libraries?

Post by chinnaP »

I think it sould be very trivial but I don't seem to find a way to do it. How can I find a particular member name from a list of Libraries? is there any REXX command available to do this?

Thanks In advance

when in ISPF 3.4 ( dataset list )
enter the command M <membername>
and ISPF will be happy to tell the datasets that contain the member
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort 8-)
