Hello,

We are on z/OS 1.13. For that, I am searching in the manuals if IDCAMS import can control the allocation of the OUTDATASET but I could really find it out.

If anyone of you can please suggest on this, it'll be a great help.

What IDCAMS function(s) are you trying to execute? What does the manual say for that/those functions. If there is no mention then what you are trying to do, and I am not sure what you really mean, cannot be done.

IDCAMS import can control the allocation of the OUTDATASET
This makes no sense at all. IMPORT allows OUTFILE or OUTDATASET, but what do you mean by "control"?

Control in terms of which user can access it, to what level etc. The OUTFILE parameter of IMPORT seems to control only volser.

Data set access is the to do with RACF or the equivalent security software. IDCAMS is not security software.
