Why do you have so many "sticky"s in this Forum?

Virtual Storage Access method - ESDS, KSDS, RRDS & LDS. Basic direct access method, Basic sequential -, Queued sequential -, Basic partitioned -, Indexed sequential -, Object - access method.

Hi,

Why do you have so many "sticky"s in this Forum? Agreed they convey a good knowledge but there are so many of them...

That's a nice observation and makes me understand that you're looking at what I put here... :)

Actually, I thought of having a single thread initially, however, that might make that single post quite huge in size and then it could be boring to read. This way we can keep all the "main-topics" separate and that will help to understand the concepts better.

If one wants to have a discussion on some of the sticky - s/he might refer that link in her/his post and then, again, it might be easy to comprehend with the link what the poster is talking about and want to have discussion on.

I'll take that as a compliment and yes, it takes quite a good amount of time to get it all going. However, the contribution from the members, like you, makes it a better experience altogether... :)
