Hi,
We have a KSDS VSAM file and this is concurrently accessed by 25+ Jobs. We've observed that these Jobs gets delayed while accessing this file. Also, when we run the same jobs separately to avoide the contention, it runs a lot quicker.
Is there a limitation on a VSAM file on concurrent reads as most of the JObs are just reading the data from it? Please advise to avoid the situation.
Make VSAM file access better.
