Using JCL/SORT how can we find the total number of records in a dataset. Are there any tools specific for this or can we use SYNCSORT to do this. If so how to do that?

Hi, As the physical map is about the screen alignment and the field positions, how the values entered in the field which has PICIN or PICOUT clause in Physical map gets mapped? Does that mean data sent/received to the physical map should be constant? How does the data in Symbolic map gets converted ...
