Thanks Robert. That was the case, as part of regular cleaning activity GDG base was deleted. But we wonder how come a GDG used weekly can come under cleaning activity. We're working with our storage team. Thanks for your answer.

Hi, Is there a parameter which we can give while creating the GDG base which might make the base get deleted after some years? We have a GDG base, in production, which was deleted abruptly two days back. We came to know only when the Job got the JCL errors. How should we start investigating about it?
