I think the question is about 'hard coding' and not 'embedded', interviewer was not wrong.

Sorry for the confusion, I was looking for a way to add the odd and even number to the records. it will help me to further develop a strategy.

What happens when we reopen a ps file and start reading
I mean it will read from Beginning or it will read from where it left?

I thought compiler will give error if we re-open in the same program, right?
